@quad they are behind the scenes figurinig it out, it's just going slower than we'd like.

A bunch of AI music copying oldies songs were getting mixed into oldies playlists and they managed to completely solve it, so I think they'll figure this out too eventually.

@sun it just doesn't stop. i don't care what youtube stores on their servers, but if they supposedly have this massive music database that copyright strikes everything, why can't they use it to figure out which is the original and serve that

it's bad enough for video games, but it's happening to anime shows too

@coolboymew @lain @sun one thing I want to try to do with AI but idk if the Chinese models I have used will be good enough is to translate old and niche JP games.

There's a lot of Pc98 games that I would love to play but can't due language barrier, so if I could somehow generate a English patch for it with AI would be awesome

There's some rumors about Moon RPG Remix, the fishing contest, which is absolute RNG bullshit, the amount of fishes, luck with fishes and etc. that you need to gain the event's Love is complete BS

There's some restaurant in the game where the dish's description is that it's the fisher's favorite dish and he believe it makes him luckier. Evidently, people put 1+1 together

If we had a save file of the fishing contest, we could probably ask it if there's a variable in the memory that it's reading for the fish spawn and time to catch

@All_bonesJones I deliberately restricted to the standard VGA 16 color palette. The tiles are from a free tileset meant for PICO-8 that I adjusted to VGA colors. But yeah, the little guy holding a tricorder wearing a helmet is defintely supposed to be like commander keen!

If anyone tells you that you can "help collapse the corrupt system with this one simple trick" It's a scam. You see this pattern over and over.

It's a trap designed to fool people who don't understand structural barriers to change. In the same way the lottery is a "tax on stupid" in exchange for being able to dream for a while.
