Dear cis parents of trans kids, I’m on my way to four hours of electrolysis.
Seriously, give your kids the hormones they want, it’s SO much cheaper. If you need more convincing, picture me on a table, whimpering and occasionally shrieking, while being tortured with electrified needles on my face and genitals, continually, for longer than the run time of an extended edition lord of the rings movie.
Every month.
For *years.*
I started hair removal procedures the first year of my transition. I’m 3 years in, and I’ll probably still be doing some in three years. I will be suffering like this for longer than the time that most trans children would be eligible for hormone therapy while legally minors (which would start around 13, give or take a few years).
As a mother, I want my kids to not suffer. I know the world is a hard place. I know that being trans is an advanced difficulty setting. I know that letting my kids choose their own paths is important, and that every day trans children are denied the care they need isn’t just that one day of suffering, it’s that day, plus MORE FUTURE DAYS.
Please. Give your trans kids the hormones they need.

Are there any queer/trans folks who live a calm and peaceful life, have supportive parents, are mentally stable, and aren't beaten-up by life?
Do those people even exists? Or are they some kind of myths and legends?
