can we please stop putting claude in things? software I use for which there are few viable alternatives has gotten so noticeably worse of late in exchange for literally no benefit. you don't have to set money on fire to make bad software, you can just learn from the dbus codebase.

When the internet started, we did not have many cat pictures to send around.
Digital photography was very expensive and cats never held still in the cat scanners.

@lain i mean i've been using those and the basic models from big providers (e.g. claude sonnet, gemini flash, gpt instant) for most of those "basic" tasks already :cat_si:
seems like a solved problem already if you're not architecting anything complex so i don't think alot of attention is directed at this sector anymore :cat_eyeonyou:
