Sometime you judged not being able doing something is you just can not doing the exactly way as theirs that they call "able".
Even in maths,the field called exact method, had thing call equivalent that doing different got same result, like 3 + 1 = 4 / 2 * 2 = 4 / s(s(s(s(0)))) = 4 or Lambda Calculus and Turing machine if you prefer computation case.
So asses your limits, find you own way and fight that way.

this is extremely true from personal experience. despite attending compsci degree, I learnt lot compsci through external resources, practical, etc. nowadays with LLM, people can learn much faster because they could just grasp the concept first instead of iterating and struggling with the "typing the right thing".
weird stuff is that, some things are still requiring "you must complete a degree" to do or be something. makes sense for some cases, but I don't think so for most cases. really annoying case that idk what to do with it either

@kaia i think the main issue is that it went from mostly actual education to mostly signaling (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Case_Against_Education if you have too much time). A smart guy with youtube, anna's archive and LLMs can get a better education than anyone at any university, but nobody will recommend it to their kids (for now). same reason why kids with access to anki and a discord server can learn good conversational japanese in a year while most japanese studies graduates can neither read nor speak it.

this is my go to writing software esp for fiction. I can use vim but I need something for a quick read, and using vim sometimes for a quick scan etc are hurting my head from the non-smooth movement

- chat and talk casually in japanese, so that I don't seem or heard like a translator
I have plenty friends I could ask since they are native Japanese, but I don't think my current level is worth them to practice with me. so I will use different approach, immerse myself in casual japanese conversation

I met someone on uni, kinda say that, I have a crush on her lol
funny thing is, when I bought fried rice just recently. I saw someone that looks similar to her, it's been more than 6 years I didn't see her so idk if its really her or not. of course I don't have the courage to ask.
