Jennifer De Broglie-Bohm@maid@shitposter.world (2026-10-05 09:07:23) mfers pop an adderall at 0545 and end up organizing all their clothes, sorting out the stuff that doesn't fit, redeploy a Cisco UCM server, knock out 9 missions in Ace Combat 8 and rearchitect their entire home network around a MikroTik CRS309, RB5009 and a fuckload of 10Gbps miku hair fiberop stapled to the ceiling.

I don't remember which commands are broken, but my normal ed(1) workflows don't work in it. (This is why I never got into Alpine Linux for any purpose...too much extra work to get a real userspace installed.)

ed(1) is so great for lots of things. Honestly probably the best unixy text editor to use on a modern smartphone, and that's not a joke.

I tend to take extensive advantage of vi's ed ancestry. For that alone, learning ed was a boon for me. Learning ed was like learning the command line for the first time again. I find using ex commands very often. In fact, I absolutely despise BusyBox vi for partially this reason. Only some ex commands are supported. It also doesn't play so nicely with getting standard input from the shell.

πŸ’™πŸ©·πŸ’œ Brett [he/him/any]@brettm@swarm.coiloptic.org (2026-10-05 08:40:18) "The Russian Ministry of Defense has responded to a statement by V. Zelenskyy, who said that in response to strikes on Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities in Kyiv, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Kyiv regime will intensify strikes on Russian oil refineries.

In response to these threats, the Russian Ministry of Defense reminds that it is carrying out massive strikes on Kyiv and other Ukrainian regions precisely in response to the actions of the head of the Kyiv regime.

This refers to attempts by V. Zelenskyy to disrupt the voting in the State Duma elections, an attempted massive attack on the 19 & 20 Sep with 1600 UAVs.

Furthermore, it includes attempts to disrupt the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg in June 2026.

Finally, last night, the Kyiv regime launched a deliberate terrorist attack on residential areas of the city of Belgorod, where there are no military facilities.

Following Zelenskyy's statement today, the strikes by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on military and military-industrial facilities, as well as related infrastructure, in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine will be intensified.

The people of Ukraine should only blame the head of the Kyiv regime for this.

Zelenskyy bears full personal and political responsibility for this"
