I was tasked to train a new hire at the site I work at. As you'd expect, the topic of video games came up. So I introduced him to #GOG. He was blown away by the fact that you buy the game, download the installation file of the game you can keep, and that you can share the file with others. So, I'm doing the only logical thing. I'm going to share some of the games I own with him. I have, potentially, changed his mind when it comes to digital ownership. Today was a good day.

i hate iiitt. I've tried taking a picture from a further distance but with the way cameras are designed to be "high-res ultra detail" it doesn't work. i have soft enough lighting and I don't have equipment to make it even softer. it fucks up the colours too by trying to make them too vibrant. i don't have the money for an actual camera but phone cameras suck and have a million preset settings to make landscapes and faces (the most common use cases) look good. i don't like this one β in the first place (fucked up the face) but at least the colours don't clash as much irl. it looks like i've been drawing with clay in the dark uuuughhhhhh

Exported list of ppl I'm following from Snac ... 1900 people omg. If I unfollow you that is why. Going manually through and screening out the questionable accounts.
Later will also check the ppl following me (as I did not used to have confimation turned on, anyone could follow).
Its only possible to check all these accounts thanks to Emacs and Vimium. I would die from RSI doing this task otherwise.
