i don't like how acrylics look in photos, the camera catches way more reflections and texture than the eye

i hate iiitt. I've tried taking a picture from a further distance but with the way cameras are designed to be "high-res ultra detail" it doesn't work. i have soft enough lighting and I don't have equipment to make it even softer. it fucks up the colours too by trying to make them too vibrant. i don't have the money for an actual camera but phone cameras suck and have a million preset settings to make landscapes and faces (the most common use cases) look good. i don't like this one ↓ in the first place (fucked up the face) but at least the colours don't clash as much irl. it looks like i've been drawing with clay in the dark uuuughhhhhh
