@SuperDicq @phnt @protos @r000t not to mention, iq is not arbitrary. it is one of the most g-loaded measurements we've been able to devise, and g informs aptitude in virtually every single task a human being can perform. as such, even if you have a totally impersonal system that doesn't distinguish one person from another, people with higher iq will consistently achieve better outcomes measured according to that system compared to people with lower iq.

They don't understand that nobody outside their dumb little echo chambers take these accusations really seriously. So they think it's hilarious that her website would just calmly refute all the BS.

@protos@tsundere.love @r000t@ligma.pro @phnt@fluffytail.org @HatkeshiatorTND@annihilation.social I personally believe we shouldn't measure people based on arbitrary and flawed metrics like IQ and instead just treat people equally.

@Paultron @shia The Jap market already did it a decade and a half ago. Nihon Crown Cork developed it and JR's beverage subsidiary Acure introduced it in 2012 'cause their research showed their customers were worried about losing their bottle caps on the train.

step 1: be biology student
step 2: need to measure something with electronic instruments
step 3: issues getting the software to work on windows
step 4: teacher tells you to download it on your phone instead
step 5: you use grapheneos, which does not allow random apps to read accelerometer and gyroscope and such, by default
step 6: pin the app because you're sharing it with a lab mate and don't want them exiting into the rest of your OS unattended. this suppresses notifications
step 7: no issues. electronic sensor readings over Bluetooth work just fine.
step 8: finish lecture, unpin app
step 9: receive a notification in past tense, summarizing what you were just doing in the app, 5 minutes ago.

If you don't already know me, I'm a heavily disabled poc trans woman who's been bedridden by long covid and me/cfs for the last year (and dealing with long covid for 3ish). I was hoping not to have to make this post but with the way everything is getting more and more expensive in the US right now, I need to.

I'm trying to raise 500 for food and 200 for miscellaneous daily expenses to tide me over for the next few months :frog_blush:

(best option for me) Venmo: OctaviaConAmore
Paypal: https://paypal.me/OctaviaConAmore
Ko-fi: https://ko-fi.com/octaviaconamore
(remember to click the one-time option unless you really want to donate every month :mew_giggle: )

(Unfortunately, options other than Venmo take pretty annoying chunks out, but if Venmo isn't an option, they're there as backup.)

Current total: 250/700

If you can't help by donating, please consider helping this post get around by boosting it :hug_love
