step 2: need to measure something with electronic instruments
step 3: issues getting the software to work on windows
step 4: teacher tells you to download it on your phone instead
step 5: you use grapheneos, which does not allow random apps to read accelerometer and gyroscope and such, by default
step 6: pin the app because you're sharing it with a lab mate and don't want them exiting into the rest of your OS unattended. this suppresses notifications
step 7: no issues. electronic sensor readings over Bluetooth work just fine.
step 8: finish lecture, unpin app
step 9: receive a notification in past tense, summarizing what you were just doing in the app, 5 minutes ago.
