oh I thought mpd was kinda like navidrome, a way to stream between 2 hosts. but if its just a database, basically its like calibre for books? like you cant literally use calibre to read an e-book from different host, but it manage the books in the host where its being installed

@ganbold@sns1.hydranlab.com for player & device compatibility navidrome is a lot better. tbh I just want to have tui media player with cover art and remote files support. the closest for navidrome that I like is SubTUI but it only support pixel-rendered album art.
