i tried many different character animations (thanks to lain's h3 lab) and think this is it.

---Reply--- underproofed ganbold@ganbold (2026-10-04 22:36:39) if you want to keep using h3 to animate things. from my experience here are factors to animate it:
- image references shader/texture, can affect the animation, for example like stop-motion kinda animation, 3d animation, 2d animation
- deliberately defined in the text prompt about the shader/texture/motion/kinetic to instruct the model, but of course its not going to 100% faithfully follow our instruction

I aim for 2d animation, but any models always drift to something like either 3d movement or 3d camera. so I spent a lot of time to refine my image references and my text prompts so that it doesn't drift away from my intent. its easier to make 2d cartoon rather than 2d anime so far with any video models

@ganbold thanks for sharing! may I ask what you do with the results? I'm currently trying to make a 2D platformer and AI tells me to use Blender / Krita to hand-rig the animations. I have never worked with Blender and it sounds daunting.
