@sun@shitposter.world You honestly even did retroslop wrong because it is a javascript based single page app. The reason people like retroslop is because it was simple and there was no client side code, just pure serverside rendered HTML using something like PHP. This isn't even retroslop it's just aestheticslop.

@sun@shitposter.world I am traveling home from Wikimania currently and I do wanna say this event has actual diversity and does it right, and not by creating exclusionary safe spaces.
My team at the hackathon for example consisted of 2 women, 3 guys, one Muslim, one gay, and we were from 3 different continents. And every team, like 20 total or so was like this.

@stefan@akko.lightnovel-dungeon.de @forestcat@social.nekover.se I think if you're going to organize a "cruising" meeting specifically for lesbians at an event like this you should also organize a straight, gay and bisexual cruising event alongside. I would be perfectly happy with that.

For some events where sexuality actually matters like flinta cruising I think it makes sense why they are flinta only.
But when there's events where it shouldn't matter, like actual workshops I find it really odd to have flinta exclusive versions of them. That just feels exclusionary to me.
I do also have some opinions on flinta cruising as well. I find it really strange to have a hookup event like this at the actual event venue. The space and timeslot could have been used for something better and more inclusive.
The other hookup events such as KinkyGeeks (which I am a big fan of personally) at CCC were always organized outside of the convention at a different venue.
