For some events where sexuality actually matters like flinta cruising I think it makes sense why they are flinta only.
But when there's events where it shouldn't matter, like actual workshops I find it really odd to have flinta exclusive versions of them. That just feels exclusionary to me.
I do also have some opinions on flinta cruising as well. I find it really strange to have a hookup event like this at the actual event venue. The space and timeslot could have been used for something better and more inclusive.
The other hookup events such as KinkyGeeks (which I am a big fan of personally) at CCC were always organized outside of the convention at a different venue.

@stefan@akko.lightnovel-dungeon.de @forestcat@social.nekover.se I think if you're going to organize a "cruising" meeting specifically for lesbians at an event like this you should also organize a straight, gay and bisexual cruising event alongside. I would be perfectly happy with that.

@SuperDicq @stefan i would like to interject for a second as there is a common misconception about Flinta in your post. Flinta doesn't mean lesbian only, it includes trans men and even cis intersex men. A man would probably be looked at weirdly at flinta cruising but thats a whole different problem
