I learnt photo editing around a year ago, taught by my ex.
when taking a photo, I never look at the result. I just see nice thing, capture it, then end of the day. it has been that way, til finally my ex gave me a tips for a simple and quick photo editing, through highlight and shadow to adjust or focus where people should watch the object in our photo. ever since being taught with my ex, I always edit it, then send to her, then she approved.
that was very small and happy day yet I think revolutionary to my life right now

aety says my photos have very consistent coloring but i always try new things while editing photos so from my pov it doesn’t feel consistent

few years later, work at big city, but the office is around suburban area, so across the office are rice fields. I watch farmers do their job when I am bored with my job

I grew up in suburban area in a small city, like, it didn't take long to go to the center of city. huge river and huge cemetery left and right during the trip as well.
one thing I remember from my school day, I used to take a shortest path by cycling through the rice fields. of course, I won't ever go there by early morning or evening, because there are no street lamp at all
less motorbike, less noise, I always forget about time when crossing those fields.

a lot of local businessman try to recreate japanese food like sushi, ramen, etc. but I've seen none of them trying to adopt unagi.

so trueee! I like to think that ui-mama actually inspires other artist, which people are welcome to help her. kinda imagine a case where our fav anime/vtuber commissioned us, it will be a dream work for us.
the recent sakura miko's MV is also playful. both has different MV vibes, but I like the direction and song of them. so comfy to listen!

I remember a few weeks ago having a discussion with @sandycorzeta about font tagging in image editor (or other app that have texts you can change the fonts) since it would be very helpful for our case in scanlation; Unlike normal text and its variants, sound effects in scanlation is a see-as-you-fit affair, and if you have gigantic library of fonts it takes a while to pick one that fits.
Now Krita has integrated its tags, used in Brush tool and others, to Text tool, as well as saving templates, which is fucking nice to have.

Can say stable Krita (5.3.4 as of now) is finally up and running in the typesetting game, the text tool is pretty good for comic/manga typesetting workflow.
