Can say stable Krita (5.3.4 as of now) is finally up and running in the typesetting game, the text tool is pretty good for comic/manga typesetting workflow.

I remember a few weeks ago having a discussion with @sandycorzeta about font tagging in image editor (or other app that have texts you can change the fonts) since it would be very helpful for our case in scanlation; Unlike normal text and its variants, sound effects in scanlation is a see-as-you-fit affair, and if you have gigantic library of fonts it takes a while to pick one that fits.
Now Krita has integrated its tags, used in Brush tool and others, to Text tool, as well as saving templates, which is fucking nice to have.
