gonna give it a try. after all, I'm moving away from Firefox, it doesn't really make sense to stick with other Mozilla products as they've shown their disinterest in software quality, preferring instead to ship useless features nobody wants and chase endless side quests which have nothing to do with shipping good software.

(boosts welcome/pls) anybody out there who switched from the business software engineering full time grind to more flexible contracting/consulting work? how did you make the switch? are you happy you did?
im a senior at a public software company (and did startups previously) and like the pay is nice, but really i would like to have more time and energy to do things i care about...

Iβm getting annoyed at YouTube suggesting autism related content to me. Why?
The algorithm is convinced Iβm autistic and very socially awkward. I donβt think that describes me at all. Iβll have you know I am a highly sought after dinner guest.
It also pushes goth content on me for some reason but itβs got at least a bit of a point there although how it figures that out Iβll never know.

man, #Thunderbird really has become absolute ass. like maybe I'm a decade or more late to realizing this because I didn't use it so long, but the UX is absolutely atrocious. how many fucking times does it need to download the same set of messages in the same folder???

I rarely watch my cartoon/anime so I always use my meal time to watch them. because when I tried to watch before sleep, I ended up sleeping before the anime opening even end. if I watch them in the morning, I tend to be lazy for the rest of the day.
my meal time is my crucial watching cartoon time. I am still watching it even if its in public.
