@anemone @phnt it is substantially better than node. however, node is incorporating everything good deno did so in a year should be okay even if not as smooth as deno.
like, launch permissions and direct typescript execution. those two things are 99% of what I need from Deno

"Capitalism is broken" is a cliche, but really, in every quarter from hardware to software, companies keep changing products and the customers/users say "we hate this" and the people in charge say "we know, but we're doing it anyway"
That's not how this is supposed to work.
This attitude is everywhere now, even in open source software.
