Best cockpit announcement yet.
After a long taxi: "Well Folks, we've driven about as far as we can. We're going to have to fly the rest of the way. Flight attendants, please take your seats."

Watching Developer Voices youtube channel, as they interview Julian Verlaguet (who created Skip programming language at Facebook). This is the first time I've ever seen interview Kris Jenkins struggle to follow what the guest is saying. Kris Jenkins has also started using Claude, which does not seem like a coincidence (admittedly its confusing things that were getting explained, but still, sheesh).

Man, AV1 is fucking magic actually. With one quick ffmpeg command got a 150 MB x264 video down to 7.4 MB without noticeable quality loss. I knew AV1 was usually pretty good but I didn't know the difference could be this big in some conditions.

We're a seeking a Braille translator for a paid project.
We'd like to make sure that our signage is readable by ADA standards (UEB Grade 2). We don't trust automated translation, and would prefer the assistance of a fluent reader.
Can you help? Let us know via DMs. If not, please boost!

Well, more like one of them can't keep a change for more than 30 minutes. The other one can work for hours at a time...

When working, there is so much things that I pick up, that end up falling by the wayside, unfinished as other things pop up that are higher priority. I would say this is about 50% of things I work on. And I wonder if this is normal ?
