Yonle@yonle@fedinet.waltuh.cyou (2026-09-24 00:15:17) So yeah, I made a go program that turn my useless 4G LTE alibaba modem USB dongle to be now used to steal the real MPEG-TS stream of an DVB-T2 broadcast from any Set-Top-Box with record-to-USB function.
and it’s done by utilizing the Linux’s USB Gadget & FUSE, and the dongle’s UDC (USB Device Controller) to basically sniff the write that looked like MPEG-TS to instead of writing the stream to disk, It broadcast to WLAN network instead, effectively bypassing the need for DVB2IP to capture the stream.

but those insanity actually what makes those 90 seconds ads to be enjoyable

underproofed ganbold@ganbold (2026-09-23 23:23:47) a video from a small creator (but bigger than me) reminds me the reason I like internet over irl. disclaimer, you can label me anything toward this opinion, and it will make my hypothesis much stronger anyway
anyone on internet of course lived in irl. but not all irl people are on internet. might be true 15 years ago, but not valid for most of people for today.
irl, if your surrounding is sucks, what you can do about it? if you are an adult, you can simply just move away to different place, to different city. for kids, there are no other options, unless you are willing to leave your family
I discovered internet, I discovered people with same hobby with me, I discovered people who actually listen to me and I can talk back to them. there are no better place than this. because not all people are gifted with lovely and supportive environment, at least there is an alternative they can choose.
idk like how many trauma, small trauma actually compared to much more traumas I saw over the internet or various works. but still trauma is trauma. easier to burry something beneath the ground rather than fight it.
that is why like I never want to do the same to others. I dislike people, hate people, but doesn't mean I have the right to do something to them. do whatever you want, I just want to have my own small and cozy peace.
