for a while that emoji was a 9MB PNG. it is not unlikely that some people who copied it still have that variant, rather than the optimized one. if it makes your device lag, know it was a 5000 by 5000 image with a noise border

I appreciate people who quit a platform because that platform use user data for training AI. I appreciate people decision, I actually support them.
but I wish people know that quitting a platform because of their data training doesn't mean that our art or data will not be used for their data training, even if you are no longer on that platform. these kind of people exist:
1) re-uploader
2) who use a part of your art/data/content as their content

Hot fuzz … a baby orangutan, one of six (two mother-infant pairs and two babies) that were recently rescued in West Kalimantan, #Indonesia. Wildfires are destroying natural habitats and cutting off food sources, forcing orangutans into plantations and increasing the risks of starvation, injury, human-wildlife conflict and smoke inhalation. The rescued animals are receiving veterinary treatment

the www.fermi.biz paradox
if there’s so much life on the internet. Where are all the personal websites?
One theory, the dark forest theory, posits that websites are hiding themselves like creatures in a forest full of predators, for as soon as they become notable they get hammered by LLM crawlers and DDoS’d.
