Ignoring the rest for now, do you have backups? Are there three copies of your data, in at least two locations, with one of them immutable?

Still looking for something different from my current employer.
I'm coming up on 8 years experience as a systems and security engineer, and my primary focuses include network and endpoint security, vulnerability management, Linux administration, virtualization and project management. I also have experience coordinating with ISMS, infrastructure/datacenter architecture and working with BSI, KRITIS, VS-NfD and IEC 62443 standards.
Ideally i'd prefer to work remote full-time for an EU-based company, but i'd be fine to travel occasionally within south Germany. I speak both German and English on a business level and would be happy to work on an international team of tech enthusiasts on internal or client projects.

@RickiTarr Grandma used to tell stories about when she was a young girl in Germany. One recurring theme was “Potato Day”, this mythical holiday nobody had ever heard of, where all the children would get a day off school, and the entire Villiage would head out into the fields and harvest potatos.
She would go on and on about how it was a big fun thing, and all of the potato-foods that the women would make at home…
25 years later, for no discernable reason, I did the math and understood why nobody knew what she was talking about. The children from the Villiage were in the fields…. because all the men were at war. After 1945, there was no more “Potato Day”.
