I'm continuing to make this public because this person continues to lie and defame me, as well as make some pretty heinous false accusations about people I know.
For context, please check the Pelago link in the root post of the thread.
I doubt they're done on the fediverse, but they're making themselves cozy on Bsky, namedropping, defaming and spreading disinformation over there now!
In the case that they re-appear on Fedi, you should not trust or interact with this person. They will try to take advantage of you, and if you attempt to call them on their behaviour, they will turn around and attempt to defame you. Typical DARVO routine.
Me and others have tried to privately handle this with the person in question on numerous occasions, and they flat out refuse to take any responsibility for their actions, despite overwhelming evidence.
Instance admins: If you have a suspicious signup request, I'm happy to discuss and share further info such as their known IPs to determine if it's them. DO NOT TRUST THEM. DO NOT INTERACT. They have gone as far as suicide threats and emotional manipulation to try and get evidence removed from Pelago.

Valve is a corporation that been under scrutiny for working conditions in the past.
Gabe Newell, the majority owner of Valve, is a billionaire.
Valve is a monopoly because they capitalized and pushed their ways earliest, when you could still get CDs for games, Valve decided to only include a code for their steam platform.
Not including a disc when everyone else was, at a time when internet speeds were slow and even rate-limited, not very consumer friendly.
Not to mention that they sold you a code, that would lock that game to your account and you wouldn't be able to share discs with your friends, meaning that Valve was one of the first companies to commit the "You'll own nothing and be happy."
With other monopolies like Google and its Chrome browser, at least they support Mozilla to show some confidence that they're not a complete monopoly. Valve pushes other companies out of the market with its presence, you know like a monopoly.
You're against greed, capitalism, and monopolies, but you give Valve a pass, that tells on your real position.
Valve is continuously breaking laws and a lot of the 'good' features it has for consumers have been forced on them by governments around the world.
They have implement mechanism in their review system to undermine legitimate protests against the developers.
Valve is greedy, still taking 30% of sales for most games, while giving games that have the highest success a fairer cut, in contrast to other platforms.
It's easy to point at the sales but those ensure the developers get the least amount of money, while Valve doesn't have to care, they still get their 30%. Which is even worse when you consider that developers also have to pay taxes, which could easily be another +30% cut.
Valve uses regional pricing, which is illegal in the EU. The whole argument the Valve-stans come with, is that it's okay because games should be cheaper in areas where people earn less. And you know what, that's not the case, in Poland the prices of g
