It's been a few months since I visited Japan; as you may recall I was traveling around *a lot*.
Here's a projection of all the places I visited, in numerical order.
Data comes from photo EXIF, plotted on OSM tiles and rendered with a Python script doing some Math.
A big question before I went was whether the Japan Rail Pass was worth it. I contend it was, but would people be interested in an actual analysis to prove that?

@mametsuko @rick @fristi yes this is incredibly hard as everything you say sounds cringe to yourself (I have this a lot with German) because you might not know what the correct way is to say something
