Being okay with this because it's supporting a movement you like is just as evil as when the other side does it. Like when they lie about the trans community, etc etc.

@sun yeah I pointed that out the other day. Turns out these "rare" books are new books that just had short print runs and the rights holders won't print more

@sun @feld and that anthropic is doing that not because they hates books but because they got sued and had to pay 1.5 Bi for piracy. That's just a monkey paw outcome from that
