Well, except LoRa which is unlicensed and I think encrypted traffic is permitted, but despite the name, the range isn't all that great.

@phnt I think the anti encryption thing is because if you permitted it the airwaves would get flooded with traffic that couldn't be regulated (in the good sense) probably would make it unusable. if you're transmitting emergency readiness data or whatever it doesn't have to be encrypted.
