Went birding with daughter today. We started with looking for a specific bird in a park. A 3 km waddle in the sun. We didn’t find it. Then we went to National Park Oostvaardersplassen for a 5 km waddle. In total we noted 33 bird species, 4 butterfly and dragonfly species (couldn’t identify 2 other species) and 1 mammal.

We couldn’t completely identify the mammal, it was a weasel or stoat. No pixel evidence unfortunately. However it was the surprise of the day! 😍

Of the birds the white-tailed eagle is always magnificent to see. 🤩 In total we saw 4 of them from quite a distance.
