Fae Forever@squiggles@mspsocial.net (2026-09-30 03:04:38) I would genuinely benefit from being able to network at this conference in November, but right now, I'm on a mental health related leave from work, and paperwork is taking a long time to sort out.

I'd really appreciate any assistance. I laid out in the goal about how much each component of the cost would be.

I'm happy to do some kind of craft in exchange if desired. Please see my other posts for what I can do. (Programming, writing, VO, etc)

Fae Forever@squiggles@mspsocial.net (2026-09-25 21:03:21) This is a really nice breakdown of common practices in Godot that lead to footguns later down the road. Especially things that are usually recommended in tutorials and such.

Also the dev's megaman game looks rad as hell

Fae Forever@squiggles@mspsocial.net (2026-09-16 08:42:56) I could use some Godot help please

I am working on a post process effect shader following the Advanced Post Processing guide in the docs (link: https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/shaders/advanced_postprocessing.html))

Given I have access to NDC, Linear depth, etc... is there any way to detect that a pixel is part of the sky background and not a concrete object? How does Godot handle depth for the sky value?

The TL;DR is I want distance fog but I don't want the distance fog to affect the skybox
