I love how banks do "two factor authentication" by sending a code to your email.... the same email that can be used to reset your password

So really it's not even 1 factor authentication at that point, the only thing that matters is control over email

Better than using a weird snowflake app for it I guess but ugh these people need to be forced to provide TOTP 2FA

@scathach the reason is because they were required by law to require it in some states, and they whined and got the definition changed lol
