If the mass production of goods from the industrial revolution gave us an age of consumerism
the  the large language models are giving us an age of producerism.

I don’t know what values will replace the current hustle-,doer- centric system as making becomes increasingly pointless, annoying even.

For me there’s a lot of conditioning to undo to not feel strange not building something, but i’m much happier returning to my hands and what-ifs i might not realize.
