@noyoushutthefuckupdad @sun Schizos here in Japan get institutionalized when diagnosed until they are cured. Since they never are, they stay in psych hospital until they die.
That's why there are so few homeless here, they get arrested once, get diagnosed by the police, and they never go outside ever again. The asylums never closed here, they just changed names.
