@sun @hakui @romin the tv series had one chick cut off her limbs to pass some Saw-esque puzzle involving a weight limit to exit a death trap. the cotton-like substance stopped the bleeding and she got her money, though the writing is so vague it doesn't say how much.
the anime is less interesting than I'm making it sound. just read the Battle Royale manga instead.
