kind of crazy how fast star wars droids have gone from a fantasy element of star wars to now a scifi element. i thought it would have taken much much longer

@maid they have like a weird soul kinda thing right? idk they're less like robots and more like a separate race like bajax said, but isn't there also lore to kind of back that up in how they're programmed or whatever idk
