Personally I don't dare to call myself "competent" in a newly-learned language unless I can maintain a roughly-similar levels of standards of living in it the way I can with the languages I already know

@koakuma culture is so chock full of unadressed shorthands, theres souch nuance to a language based on its cultural context too, speaking it is well and good but theres more meat there than just the visible skin layer
