@whiteline i think the patrons aren't allowed to interfere without permission. there is something weirdly metaphysical about this.

it comes up in the secret evil elite shit, too, where defectors get killed but patronless free men are nonfactored in other ways (bought out, lab ruined, whatever, but people who never signed over to the cult aren't allowed to be overtly murdered.) the theme shows up again with the secret space program conspiracyshit, where sometimes people pop their UFOs in to space and everyone is like "hah, a free person. rare!"

there is something funny about messing with patrons is permission to fuck you forever but for some reason if you're doing yogi or alchemy they just have to put up with this.

@whiteline could be some funny speculation about the jesus as a carpenter bit there. he acts a lot more like a hermetic alchemist, and none of the consorting with things came from him specifically.

"build your own way out they literally cannot stop you" is a recurrent theme, and one that perpetually gets buried in manipulation to disrupt. it may even be true.

@icedquinn i do think that being "an elite" in todays society forces you to behave in weird and inhumane ways that is almost entirely unrecognizable from being influenced by inhuman entities / systems if you want to look at it that way
