@7666 i meant the US side, treating the carriers and their personell in this way is a very low-cost high-profit way to get a huge part of the very specific knowledge base to operate these things to leave the navy, and i think that's very intentional

for each inoperable carrier the US navy loses a huge part of their power projection capability (and this power can also be projected onto a regime that unconstitutionally governs from the white house
