Meditations was never written for our benefit.

its weird to quantify because you have more rights on paper now but you have less social welfare in practice. the concept that "your child will just be born and ejected as a pauper" was considered like, grossly negligent in the guild era.

I have come around to realizing that outsourcing politics and moral authority is actually just necessary because you can't build human society where every giant moral and political concern is projected down into every person. they need to be able to focus on their personal relationships and place in society not like, ukraine war or if x or y should be illegal that has no effect on them personally.
