I tried davinci resolve. its modern, snappy, etc. but what is the point of those if important things are gated with paywall

I am kinda officially back to MacOS. I've been using my old m1 air with asahi, but since I got deals with some sponsor, and they require me to use app that available only in MacOS and Windows but not Linux, so yeah I used my dual-boot of MacOS and Asahi.
one thing I realize that its nice using mac since you can switch between macos and asahi pretty seamless. at least I think get yourself something like 16 gigs or 32 gigs of memory if you could afford it, its nice to have to extras. unlike mine capped to 8 now. for disk, do 256 or 512 then work on something like external disk for daily use and backup. preferably accessible through cloud as well

last night, I dreamt of getting back with my ex. we did a lot of things together. we get along very well. it was the most warm and comfortable sleep I had over the years, even if it was just a dream.

I am glad back in the day I bought tablet and mini pc, not another laptop and portable screen
all my old laptops are low in memory, and cant be installed another memory. even if I run 2 screens, the bottleneck is in the memory.
with tablet, at least I have 2 separate mobile computing. so if 1 device is overloaded, I still can do things with other device

Mendengar ucapan teman pas ketemu beberapa hari lalu di Batam emang ada benernya.
Orang yang kerjanya selalu ngikut orang dan mahir secara teknis (technical) dalam bidangnya juga belum tentu bakal bisa dan siap kalo disuruh bikin usaha/kerja sendiri meskipun itu masih dalam satu bidang yang digeluti.
Karena pada dasarnya bikin usaha/kerja sendiri jadi pemilik/pemimpin itu juga bidangnya beda... yang mana lebih ke arah manajemen dan selalu dituntut untuk bisa generalist daripada specialist.
Itu kenapa juga akhirnya yang bisa bikin para manusia-manusia investor dan pebisnis jarang memiliki pengetahuan teknis mendalam akan apa yang mereka usahakan/bisniskan/investasikan. Mereka tau dan mahirnya cuman di bidang manajemen untuk buka usaha, ngatur resiko dan maksimalisasi keuntungan.
