I got a theory that one get sick, isn't because they are "sick". but rather, life or quality of life for them is deteriorating. got nothing to look up for, ended up in a state that its better to not think or expect for anything, which kinda getting worse

there are other theory as well, and this theory doesn't make one sickness means this exact reason. but rather, one of reason that could make someone sick
