tbh for beginner artist, I'd recommend misskey id if you don't really have any supporting community for getting started as artist

5 years ago, I got a supporting community from a vtuber fandom. I never draw before, back in the day AI was like a baby toy, so I need to push myself to draw something as fanart. since my quality is so bad, I play around on the concept instead. and it was widely accepted in the community despite its basically just a stickman at some point.

I didn't get better because of the comfort zone and I know no fundamental, meanwhile my friends keep getting commissioned from the same community for doing the same fan artwork from the same vtuber, insane. basically money rotates there

its safe zone for artist, I think like if you lock yourself for at least a year, you will at least earn something and gain something out there. I earned like 20 to 50 bucks maybe at that time

so yeah, be wild
