it does show a dot on the main screen
problem is that it doesn't tell you what the dot is for (interaction notifications also trigger the dot), so ivy'd just stare at the dot for days before finding the messages

I thought the dot was instance announcement. like, it bothers me most of the time, I clicked it, only shows those instance announcement I haven't clicked yet, then I ignored it, repeat
