@feld @Parzival I enjoyed it but it was a basic as fuck movie and nearly every "funny" part didn't land for me. still, it felt like a movie, which is better than many these days.

@feld @Parzival direct book to video conversions are rarely good. we're watching an adaptation of a spy thriller right now and there are parts where people just tell the main character stuff, which kinda works in a book, but in a movie you're like "why does everyone just volunteer information to this guy"
