---Reply--- 🌈ᚩ🌈@bonifartius@noauthority.social (2026-07-29 18:12:22) @SuperDicq @sun you can not like what someone does but still respect them. e.g. i don't like the church, but i don't shit on people active in the church if they don't do harm to anyone - usually they even do good. moon works to do nice things for fedi, i don't need to shit on this. i only find the irony in that scrapers are an annoyance for self hosting llm generated code funny, but those scrapers are annoying for me as well.

@bonifartius @SuperDicq I respect the good arguments against llms. It’s a fact that the legal provenance of llm code hasn’t been legally tested yet and it could go either way. I don’t give a si for shit about power usage or building data centers in the abstract other than how they affect people’s property through externalities
