I like how framework made the amazing and unprecedented (at least, within every laptop I have owned prior to this framework 13) decision to put the air intake on the fucking bottom of the computer so that if you set it on---presumably the second or third most common surface for laptops to be on---a bed, the entire computer gets too hot to touch without experiencing pain while idling. every other computer I have owned has put the intake on the side or back or really just anywhere that doesn't have this problem. incredible things going on in the problematizing non-problems space

@0x6e6174@catgirl.cloud many older laptops did have air intake on the bottom. i would never buy a hp again for this reason. ps i always tell ppl don't put your laptop on bed or couch, get a thin chopping board and sit laptop on that rather than have laptop inhale fabric fibres.
