@iwillbite @f0x yep. my notebook is just kinda like a daily organizer, I'm still figuring out how to manage it. Only been doing this since jan 1st, my new years resolution was to "make more lists"

@bajax @f0x yeah it tracks your heart rate. I know it’s not perfect but it gives you the estimate of the calories you burn.
I guess whatever works for the person.

@khm @aartaka ah jeez wtf? who would even think that's a good idea? middle click isn't even reserved for us linux nerds, even casual 2D games use that button sometimes.

Tex Shura has a JP layout and similar shape to the HHKB Studio. No touchpads in the case, though. What do you think about it?

as a Trackpoint Guy, the Studio is utterly ruined in the same way the Tex Shura: the middle mouse button cannot function as a middle mouse button, only as an Fn2 key or a scroll modifier. it's heartbreaking that they came so close and tanked it at the finish line.

@iwillbite @f0x although my routine is about the same every day, I suppose I could calculate it and note it, but I just haven't need it yet.
does the watch try to estimate based on like heartrate or something?

@aartaka Staggered layout and huge spacebar are *probably* dealbreakers for me, but otherwise this keyboard is incredible. That gesture pad thing seems really interesting, trackpoint in the middle is awesome. Not sure how I feel about them abandoning Topre and going MX but it's probably best for switch hotswap compatibility (some of us nerds like really light linear switches, after all).
Something like this shaped a bit more like the Kinesis Advantage or even the MS Sculpt (or Kinesis mWave) would be an instant buy, I think. Sigh.
