It's hot, but some breeze felt nice in the yard.
Our yard man had an accident and totaled his truck, hence the overgrown grass. He's OK, and he's getting a new truck later this week🙏

Today was a big day for us. One year old vet check and vaccinations. We've been visiting the vet's parking lot several times. Today was first day inside. The vet staff was super kind and patient with Geo. It took a few attempts and trials to get the exam and vaccs done. But a halo, being in our arms, cheeze & peanut butter whiz made it happen. Lots of growing and no tears. Keep loving your pups thru all the scary bits. There is a calmer place waiting for you. #DogsOfMastodon #DeafDog

she writes it in a way you have to think about a little, which then makes it feel even worse. like "in this book the rapist is a thousand-years-old thought being who grooms children and injects itself into their brains to take them over" or "in this book the rapist is a vampire who injects the victims with venom that makes them really like it actually

@ageha incidentally I have been experimenting with talking to AI for research and brainstorming ideas or rejecting cliches, but never for proposing ideas or actually writing anything. on the fence about using it to diagram a story structure

@ageha this is also why so many smut books are switching to words like "core" instead of "pussy" lol because chatgpt will reject it

what does the phrase "white spice" mean? does it simply refer to mildly spicy stuff or is there more to the meaning of the phrase?

@ageha if a book has rape in it at least you know it wasn't written by chatgpt because it will refuse to do that.

Quite a journey drawing so many different species, many of them for the first time. A lot of work but also a lot learned, and I'm very proud looking at this final result. ^^ Hope to do version 2 of this challenge in the future at some point~

@ageha the other more banal explanation is that there's been a lot of professional turnover in the entertainment industry with the boomer die-off and a lot of institutional knowledge on things to avoid has been lost, I have seen it in other places too.
