If you don't already know me, I'm a heavily disabled poc trans woman who's been bedridden by long covid and me/cfs for the last year (and dealing with long covid for 3ish). I was hoping not to have to make this post but with the way everything is getting more and more expensive in the US right now, I need to.

@mametsuko @cell as far as I know it is one of the biggest aquariums in the world. And I think the only one where you go around one central big fish tank in multiple building levels... It's a one of experience.
And near the aquarium you can get a certificate for climbing one of Japan's smallest mountains.
I have been there 4 or 5 times in my life and it's still amazing and special.

Safety is astronomically expensive.
I'm a queer, genderfluid, chronically ill DV survivor & parent. I fled my abuser over a year ago, and the first DV protection order that I sought—without a lawyer—was denied. We've been in court for over a year, and my 2-year-old was exposed to months of dangerous split custody because of mistakes that I made before I was able to secure legal representation. No pro bono lawyers were available but I found a DV expert who charges on a sliding scale. Unfortunately, the sliding scale *starts* at $200/hr, so that's what I pay.
I've fundraised over $10k for legal expenses, and with trial coming up, I anticipate needing that much again over the next 2 months. Right now, the EMERGENCY BILL is $2,343 and I need to pay it by this Monday, September 14.
The firm also wants to keep a $2,000 trust so that they can pay my bills from that first and I don't tip into legal debt, like I have right now.
On top of that, I'm out of gas, and have a $250 bill due on Tuesday. We really, really need help. We are physically safe right now, with a new DV protection order in place, but it's essential to stay on top of these bills to survive the final hurdles of family court.
Finally, my abuser has harassed me all over the fediverse and I had to switch servers without being able to port my followers yet. That means my fundraising visibility has been trashed. Your boosts + follows are vital to helping us reach our goal.

You’re paying 4× more for RAM because memory that hasn’t been made has already been bought with money that doesn’t exist.
The GPUs haven’t been built. Neither have the data centers. The infrastructure to power them may never exist.
All to satisfy demand that doesn’t exist and generate profits that are mathematically impossible.

Tsuki Is recovering from her surgery. She had to have all her teeth removed. I adopted her 3 years ago, and she is 9 years old. She lived in the streets for about 5 years before being rescued, and now she will never miss love, food, shelter or safety.
