Ferry workers are "striking" until October 6th.
All Sydney ferries (except a couple of privately operated ones) are facing industrial action consisting of workers turning off the Tap-on/Tap-off machines. This means ferries run for free to customers, pressuring bosses to negotiate a fair contract with workers.

I hit the public transport price cap on Thursday, apparently.
So, since then, if you need me you can find me in a train, ferry, metro or bus somewhere around Sydney.
