My new workflow now utilizes sub-agents and git worktree to do multiple tasks at once. After everything finishes, attempt to perform an octopus merge into a single branch. If the octopus merge attempt fails, fall back to sequential merges. I may need extra time to resolve the merge conflict, but I minimize that by knowing the blast radius of each task before handing it off to sub-agents.
