If people still worshipped Baal (God of fertility and life giving rain) then they'd be doing permaculture on a nation-state level instead of supporting oligarchs. As to Moloch, that's a name for an ancient Israelite ritual of human sacrifice in the form of a burnt offering. If people are gonna misappropriate random names of supposedly Pagan Gods from the BuyBull, then they should be taking a closer look at Mammon (also fake, but at least on point).
