@Tony @rees II really wanted to directly integrate a crypto wallet but there simply was too much hacking risk. So, it's definitely possible to monetize a miniapp, but you have to do it yourself not helped by the server. I'm working on starter miniapp templates right now, and after that I'll be making an example game with crypto integration so anyone can look at how it's done and copy it.

@Tony I started with an open source game that was made 14 years ago for the precursor to this network, called ActivityPump. Since then I've added a ton more to the game.

I am working on "starter templates" for Fediverse miniapps and gonna be honest here it's far far FAR too complicated to implement Fediverse integration.
Yes you can just use a library but it's crazy how much work it is just to not trip over your own dick doing simple things.
